I last saw Dr Bederman 4 years ago for lumbar pain. The pain has increased past year & 3days before I saw him it was so great that I could not stand without using a walker. He was very patient & listened to my concerns & ordered an MRI . I will see him again this Friday

Dr Bederman and his team are all outstanding. Polite, Knowledgeable, and attentive. From the time that I was first seen to discuss the issues I was having with my back all the way to the post surgical care and follow up. I was fortunate to have found Dr Bederman and be able to see him within 2 weeks when I initially called his office to make an appointment. It was determined that I had a collapsed L5/S1 vertebrae that was pinching on a nerve causing me to experience severe drop foot. Essentially I wasn’t not able to walk any longer. 1 yr after my surgery, I’m able to walk normally and all the pain I was experiencing has since then resolved and I’m pain free. Dr Bederman is an excellent Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone with back issues.

Dr Bederman has performed 4 out of 5 spinal surgeries for me. The first one was from another surgeon after a fall that fractured my spine when I was out of state. I got a serious infection after that first surgery and Dr Bederman replaced all the hardware in my spine and brought me back to health when other surgeons didn’t want to take the risk. He also corrected my scoliosis and a compressed spinal cord. He is a knowledgeable and caring and patient physician that I would trust with my health and my life.

Five years ago Dr. Bederman fused 10 vertebrae in my back with 2 rods, 20 screws and 5 spacers. I just saw him for my annual check up and ex ray. He always asks how I am doing, discusses any current concerns and goes over the ex ray with me. I have had no pain or issues with my back. I will always be grateful to Dr. Bederman!

Couple of issues:
1. It's really hard to make an appointment, no one usually answers the phone. I had to call at least 5 times to make an appointment.
2. Now there is appointment, I get there, I don't see Dr. S. Samuel Bederman, I see another person who I dont even know who.
3. This person doesn't have a good customer care service, pretty much just tells me to take pain killers.
4. I dont even get a proper report of what the results of what my MRI was.

Dr Bederman was an excellent listener and communicater about my condition and options about what to do!
I know I haven't experienced that quality of care and attention on my first visit from other surgeons.

There's not a day that goes by that I'm not thankful for this amazing man. He gave me my life back on a golden platter. I went through 9 botched surgeries before meeting Dr Bederman. I didn't have much faith in doctors. My very first visit with Samuel gave me so much hope. I knew I was finally in the right place. I never thought in a million years that I would be back at work driving a semi truck.. Something that I always enjoyed.. You will always be my hero Dr Bederman ❤️

I am always happy with Dr. Bederman and his staff. Very attentive to all my concerns and very caring as to how I approach my recovery from surgery. I have not been let down by Dr. Bederman or his staff. Wonderful surgeon and the hope and confidence they have and provide is enormous.
